Ensurco is one of Canada’s largest independent insurance brokerages and we service thousands of clients across the country. We’re looking to further develop our insurance team and want to hire the right candidate in our Personal Lines department.


Personal Lines Sales Representative 


This position is ideal for experienced insurance professionals with a passion for sales.  You will be working within a growing team, responding to clients who have already received quotes from Ensurco.ca.

Candidates must have a strong understanding of home and auto insurance products, standard and nonstandard markets.

Responsibilities and Duties

Routine Tasks:

  • Answer calls and provide the quotation for different insurance products
  • Facilitate sales of all products and services according to client needs
  • Assist and guide clients with all the required knowledge of insurance products
  • Review the client’s requirements and recommend necessary products
  • Keep track of potential clients and their requirements
  • Ensure premium level of client satisfaction in one phone call

Qualifications and Skills


  • R.I.B.O. licensed
  • Highly organized
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Comfortable working by phone & email
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Proactive team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Personal Lines Service 


Duties Include :

  • Renewing or amending existing policies for clients
  • Maintain positive working relationships with clients and staff
  • Discussing and assessing clients' current and future insurance needs
  • Researching insurance policies and products
  • Guiding clients through the claims process
  • Customize insurance programs to suit individual needs
  • Resolve policy/account billing issues
  • Remain current on all company workflows and procedures


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Pleasant and professional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to explain complex issues and concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Excellent organization,time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and decision making abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Excel
  • Experience and expertise in operating in a digital environment
  • Superior client care orientation


  • RIBO level I license with 2 or more years of experience
